The Dukes of Hazard boys and Ghost Busters have a good time together. That's how I would characterize the wildly popular Supernatural television series.

This is more of a lighthearted but entertaining monster mashup than a synaptic test. Sam and Dean Winchester, the protagonists of the story, are fierce hunters who find and eliminate monsters and other supernatural creatures.

Although this series seems formulaic, which it is, it is creative enough in its storytelling to introduce new characters and plot lines to keep things somewhat interesting. After 14 seasons, this is no small feat.

Enjoy one with some chips and a beer or two. I give it an 8 out of 10.
